This lovely cigar was made in Nicaragua, where Drew Estate has been making cigars since 1996. It is a 5” Robusto with a ring gauge of 52.
This is the description that came with the cigar: “Well constructed with a sweetened cap, this cigar delivers a smooth mix of earthy tobacco and sugary black coffee, followed by floral notes and spicy Nicaraguan pepper. The finish is long and sweet.”
It was spot on.
The sweetened cap was a nice touch and went well with the sugary black coffee notes throughout the cigar. I definitely picked up on the Nicaraguan pepper in the final third.
I enjoyed this cigar with a delicious Mocha Java coffee blend.
I definitely recommend this one to anyone who enjoys a bit of sweetness and coffee on the lips.
